Minnesota Public Radio News examined the achievement gap in education through a weeklong series of Web and radio broadcasts; and an online collaboration, “Fix the Gap: The Idea Generator.”
Visit the Idea Generator and submit your own idea or review and comment on ideas submitted from around the area. These ideas will be the focus of the upcoming town hall meeting.

UPDATE -- I posted a suggestion for a Universal Tuition Tax Credit plan on the "Idea Generator" located here that facilitates the ability of low-income parents to make school choice a viable alternative. Take a look, and if you agree, vote to have it included on the agenda.
UDATE -- Thanks to everyone who expressed interest in the UTTC (and if you haven't, please do at this link). Due to the response to the idea, I've been asked to introduce the topic at the Town Hall meeting, where it will be discussed. If you have any interest at all in the future of education in Minnesota, I urge you attend and make your opinion known. I'll post more on the meeting in a new post. Again, thanks to those who voted and left comments on the MPR site.
