Wellstone obsession -- It's not just for the DFL anymore

But it should be.

I do not find Susan Lenfestey very insightful, but Yoda-like wisdom isn’t necessary when we conservatives stoop to play at her level. In yesterday’s Strib she strings together a series of obvious retorts to Katherine Kersten’s partisan and predicable resurrection of the Paul Wellstone memorial service. Lenfestey on points.

Having been in the position of having a column deadline and a brain fart coexist in the time-space continuum, I have some sympathy for Kersten. However, she might take a lesson from Justin Kucek, punter for our beloved Golden Gophers. Rather than drop the ball and let the opposition score, sometimes it's better to just kick the damn thing out of the end zone and take the safety.

As an issue, the Wellstone memorial is dead. Let’s get over it.
